• •  Do I need to provide anything?

• No, I will provide all the equipment needed for the session. If you would like you can provide a certain type of background music if you have a personal preference.

• •  What forms of payment do you accept?

• Cash or credit is accepted. The accepted credit cards are American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

• •  How far do I have to undress? What parts of me will be covered?

• When preparing for the massage you only undress to your comfort level. Some women chose to keep their bra and underwear on, while others prefer to wear just underwear. There is also the option of a sports bra and shorts. Some men prefer to wear their underwear while others prefer shorts. Whichever is most comfortable for you can be worked around. During the massage only the area that is being worked will be undraped. Breasts, genital, and gluteal (buttocks) areas will always remained draped during the massage. If glutes are to be worked on they are massaged through the sheet you will be covered with.

• •  Will you be in the room with me when I undress?

• No, I will not remain in the room. While you are undressing, getting onto the table and covered with a sheet I will step into a bathroom to wash my hands before the massage. You will alert me when you are ready, on the table, and covered before I will re-enter the room the treatment is being done in.

• •  Can I have a friend or spouse there with me during my session?

• Yes! If you will be more comfortable having someone therewith you that is perfectly fine. I only request that the person with you will remain quiet to allow you to relax and for me to focus on your needs. He or she is more than welcome to ask questions before or after the massage.

• •  I have children and pets. Is it okay for them to be present during my massage?

• To ensure the most relaxing and focused session it is best that you do not get disturbed. Children should be napping or at a friend's house. Pets should be put outside or in another room.

• •  What will happen when you arrive?

• I will arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled session time to allow for set up and for you to fill out forms. After the equipment is set up, we will go over the forms together and talk about what your goals are for the massage session. I will also explain the techniques I will be using and answer any questions you may have.

• •  What will happen during my massage session?

• During your massage you will remained covered by the sheet except for the area of the body that is being massaged. You get to just relax! If at any time the pressure or technique used makes you feel uncomfortable, just inform me and everything will be adjusted to your comfort level. It is very important we work together to ensure you receive the best treatment possible.

• •  What forms am I filling out? Why do I need to fill them out? What will happen with my information?

• You will be filling out a form that covers your contact information, your medical history, a chart where you mark what your needs for the massage session are, and there is a brief consent statement you must read then sign. The medical history section of the form is required to make sure there are no medical conditions which would prevent me from performing the massage. The consent statement is acknowledging that you understand that you are receiving a therapeutic massage and that all information you provided is correct. The information provided is a medical record and is protected under HIPAA law. All records are securely stored and this information is only available to you, upon request.
